I recently brought a new scroll to Lee’s about two weeks ago. The framer was a genuine artist: he recognized that the scroll was Japanese and recommended both a traditional and gilded frame. He selected matting that complimented highlights in the print and saved me money with UV plexiglass. That being said, a large professional frame is not a cheap investment. If you’re framing a rock poster or photo collage, you’d be better off at Aaron Brothers.. But if your piece is worth preserving–either as a multi-generational heirloom or museum-quality artifact–Lee’s is worth the price. -Karl H., Los Angeles, CA
